Popular Cremorne apartment expected to be a hit

NEARLY two dozen auctions will be held across the lower north shore this weekend, but one unit in particular is attracting a range of buyers due to two things:

A THREE-BEDROOM apartment at 1/20-24 Rangers Rd, Cremorne is expected to see three to four groups register for its auction.

Listed with a price guide of $1.25 million, Sweetnams Real Estate agent Darren Wildash said there was interest from a range of potential buyers, and at least three parties are expected to register to bid.

“It has had some solid interest over the campaign, we’ve got two investors and two owner-occupiers who are pretty keen for this property,” he said.

Located inside the “High-Tor” security building Mr Wildash said the location and the buildings amenities were the biggest draw cards.

“It is an easy walk up Rangers Rd to the shops and transport to the city, but the building has a number of good facilities such as a swimming pool and a good barbecue area,” he said.

Marketed towards professionals, families and downsizers, the apartment’s main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with toilet and show, as well as a built-in wardrobe.

There is a second bathroom located near the entrance.

The open-plan layout of the unit, sees the kitchen, living and dining rooms form one large room.

Features include airconditioning, a gas cooktop and a two carparking spots.

CoreLogic shows that the current owners have owned the apartment for just over two years, after they paid $1.145 million for it in 2016.

This weekend around 20 properties are scheduled to go under the hammer this weekend across the lower north shore.
